Headstand (Sirsasana) is also called the ‘king’ of all yoga poses for its many benefits to the body and mind. 

But getting upside down is not that easy, it can be confusing or even scary; a helping hand can be needed. 

 

During this two hours yoga workshop, we will:

  • warm up our bodies with a yoga vinyasa flow to cultivate strength and balance

  • learn how to safely enter and exit headstand step by step

  • find out about variations 

 

Challenge your vigor and balance, overcome your fear, explore gravity and turn your world upside down!

 

This workshop is for you if you:

  • always wanted to learn how to headstand

  • already doing it and want more confidence and control

  • want to learn more variations of this posture

 

No inversions experience required, beginners are very welcome.

Arm balances can be empowering yoga postures that help us build strength, balance, confidence and concentration. These poses teach us not only about our inner strength, but also about our innate playfulness, courage and our ability to create lightness and space. 

During these two hours yoga workshop you will learn how to approach a variety of arm balances with greater confidence, mindfulness and ease in a fun and challenging atmosphere.

  • We will begin this workshop with a vigorous, fun one hour Vinyasa class emphasizing the cornerstones of successful arm balances: core, open shoulders and balance. 

  • Then we will spend the second hour exploring arm balances in deeper detail. We will deconstruct and analyze ways to master arm balances and tips and tricks to deepen your practice. 

 

New to arm balances? No problem! This workshop is suitable for someone who’s simply curious, or for those of you who are ready for a new challenge. It’s an opportunity to bring a little playfulness to your practice and hopefully you’ll surprise yourself by what you can achieve in just a couple of hours.

 

Come with a playful attitude, no expectations and learn to fly!

Our hips are the center of our mobility in yoga and everyday life. 


Unfortunately, we can experience tight hips because of anxiety, a sedentary lifestyle or our common workouts like running, cycling or lifting weights.
Tightness can cause discomfort, back pain and limitation to even basics activities.

During these two hours workshop you will:

  • Gain a greater understanding of the anatomy of your hips and lower body and use postures to increase your range of motion in all directions.​

  • Learn easy methods for minimizing chronically tight tissues in the hips and lower body.

  • Enable you to release and soothe the muscular tension commonly found in your hips, hamstrings, glutes and lower back.

  • Enjoy a greater ease, comfort and rejuvenation as we open up more space in the hips.

  • Leave having released your hips and feeling empowered to continue the opening in your regular practice.
