A BIT ABOUT ME

I began practicing yoga in 2009 when I needed to find balance and inner calm while working in the marketing field in Paris. Yoga helped me get rid of my chronic stress and panic attacks caused by my occupation and lifestyle.

The amazing feeling of mindfulness and ‘being present on my mat at the moment’, is what draws me back to the class constantly.

And what began as an occasional practice became my relaxation pursuit which provided me with much-needed space to focus inwards and forget about the outside stressful world. Yoga creates a perfect balance for both my mind and body by making me feel healthier and stronger.

More than a de-stress, yoga helped me to learn about myself, understand the strengths, the edges and the limits of my body. In a word, to be more confident.

I chose to become a yoga teacher to help students to stay connected to their true selves, bodies, minds and spirits. I like to empower them to feel better, calmer, stronger and more confident. I think it’s a good opportunity for students who are looking to alleviate stress, anxiety, facilitate healing and generally improve their day to day feeling of wellbeing.

Today I am based in Christchurch NZ and I teach Vinyasa, Ashtanga and Yin Yoga at Mt Pleasant Community Centre, Gym and Yoga studios around town. I also run Yoga Workshops and Retreats, so make sure you are up to date with the upcoming ones!

TEACHER TRAINING

Up to now, I have achieved 800 hours of teacher training.

I completed my 200 hours teacher training course by two times: in Vinyasa Yoga with Gérard Arnaud in 2013 and in Ashtanga Vinyasa in 2014 with Samyak Yoga.

I started teaching in 2014 straight after this last training in Australia where I stayed for a year before moving to New Zealand in 2015. Based in Christchurch since my arrival, I’m currently teaching all around the town.

As a yoga teacher always remains a student and to gain further knowledge, I completed in 2018 my 300 hours teacher training course in Vinyasa Yoga with Louisa Sear (Yoga Arts) and followed a 100 hours training in Yin Yoga with Shanti Atma Yoga in 2019.
